Function of Enzyme Care:
The enzymatic degradation process inactivates the hair follicles where the rest of the anagen hair cells are proteolytically dissolved by the enzyme activity. This process detracts the basis for hair growth and reduces regrowth over time or stops the regeneration of hair completely.

- The Enzyme Complex (phase 1) is then applied to the skin and massaged thoroughly for one minute.
- The Accelerator (phase 2) is then applied and massaged thoroughly for one minute as well.
- The active system penetrates to the bottom of the hair follicle and dissolves the remaining hair growth cells for about 10 minutes.
Study Results
Dermatological long-term study.
Determination of tolerance and the hair growth inhibiting effect from a post- epilation treatment with the proteolytic enzyme complex used in EpilaDerm®. The objective of the study was to test the proteolytic enzyme complex on tolerance and ef cacy in accordance with clinical-dermatological test criteras. The dermatological observation and measurements were done on a 10cm2 test area on the upper arm involving 15 test persons. On all test persons the test area was epilated with traditional wax before applying the enzyme complex. Determination of tolerance: Over the nine months test period all test persons demonstrated highest tolerance to the Enzyme Complex without any side-effects or negative pathological findings! Determination of hair regrowth reduction: By counting the numbers of remaining visible hairs in the test area on each test person an average reduction of hair regrowth from approx. 25% after 3 months, 40% after 6 months and nearly 42,50% after 9 months was observed! Conclusion: Based on the average measured reduction of regrowing hairs a sustainable reduction of hair regrowth is plausible by regular treatments with the proteolytic enzyme complex! In addition the study indicates that the usage of the proteolytic enzyme complex is safe to skin and without any side-effects! |
