Before Your Brazilian Wax Appointment
There’s not much for you to do to get ready for your Brazilian wax, however, there are a few things that will make your Brazilian wax go more smoothly. (Pun intended)
BEFORE
Your Brazilian Wax Appointment |
Here are a few things you need
to know before you come in for your Brazilian waxing service. NOTE: You cannot be waxed if you are taking Accutane, Retin-A or antibiotics. |
- DO NOT tan 24 hours prior to your
appointment.
If you are getting a Brazilian wax just make sure you have your entire bikini area covered if you do tan.
- Your hair needs to be at least ¼ inch long.
IF YOU SHAVED - You will need to have AT LEAST 10 to 15 days growth.
IF YOU WAXED - You will need to wait AT LEAST 4 weeks to get waxed again.
If the hair is shorter than the times listed above it will be more difficult to remove. Some of your hair may also be to short to remove and result in hair being left behind.
- If possible you should try to avoid booking your FIRST appointment when you have your period.
You are a little more sensitive to discomfort during this time. However, If you booked your appointment and you happen to get your period, you can still keep your appointment as long as you wear a tampon.
- People have said that
taking Advil or Tylenol 1 hour prior to your waxing helps reduce the
discomfort.
Not to worry, It's not bad at all. You will be pleasantly surprised at how comfortable your wax will be.
- BE ON TIME!
I know this is silly but you would be surprised how many people show up late.
Please leave yourself plenty of time ESPECIALLY if it is your first appointment.
We are a busy waxing salon and are completely booked most days.
If you are going to be late PLEASE CALL or TEXT! 570-739-1434
